It's an ok place, just off the highway.
I did give it four stars because even though the staff was rude and the food was just...OK... the place inside was almost spotless. Honestly it's bathroom's were amazingly clean. Now I was from out of town and I visited this place during the day. But I did get the feeling that the neighborhood was kind of scary at night. But that could simply be because of all of the construction in the area going on.
But the staff while several were rude towards us at first, they were also friendly. I honestly think that they must have had a rush of bad customers, before we showed up.
Because at first they were rude, but by the end of our meal everyone was so very nice to us all.
So I don't want to give them a perfect rating, which is why 4 out of 5. But in the end I did tip our waitress over 20%of our total bill, so you figure out where I was.
The service was adequate and the food was good. They overcook the scrambled eggs here, but that seems about par for all of the locations. The biscuits were soft and fresh; I expect that since they've practically built this place on the sausage and biscuits. The table and booth seats were clean but the condiment caddy could be cleaner. Overall, the experience was good.
Pretty good experience at this location. The staff was super friendly and the food was okay. The steak burger was a bit too dry and the fries had to have been left in the fryer too long. The sweet tea was great and so was the coleslaw.
The server and the host we got were both exceptionally nice. I ordered the grilled chicken with a loaded baked potato and a fruit cup, and they made a fruit cup special for me since it was supposed to be a breakfast side and they had to cut up the fruit. The whole meal was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was modern but cozy. Definitely not what I expected walking into a Bob Evan's considering most of their restaurants are a sort of farmhouse cozy. Overall, an excellent experience and meal, and I would definitely go back.
