Union Street Diner

Excellent service. Most meals on the menu were in the $9 range. Except for the biscuits with sausage gravy which is a little more than $5. The biscuits were very good, and the sausage gravy was more gravy than sausage. However, if you're looking for much better sausage gravy with biscuits, go to McDonald's for half the price.

Time and time again, I enjoy my experience at Union Street Diner. The staff is wonderful and kind, first and foremost. The food is as expected for a diner. I typically eat breakfast food and I'm never disappointed. If you are in Athens, this is a classic Athens restaurant that will truly give you the Athens experience.

Awesome local favorite. We stopped in when we visited the area and were pleasantly surprised at how great the food was. Very friendly service too!

Went here for breakfast and was greeted by a friendly and very helpful host. The waitress was kind and attentive. The food was delicious according to my whole table, who were eating breakfast foods. I took a different approach, at 9:30 am, and ordered dual chili cheese dogs. These were paired with a side of fries and we're also delicious. The portions we're more than generous though so come hungry!

Always down for a good diner experience! This one is it in Athens, everything is mostly made from scratch and the love of the employees shines through with this space. I'm blessed to have discovered it! Also they are very open minded so as a LGBTQIA person of color I highly recommend this place.
