“I was cautiously optimistic about getting breakfast here, and while my family didn't like it, I was not on the same line as them. This place is refreshingly basic. There isn't a whole lot going on, taste wise, just the simplistic flavors expected with the items served with them. Now this isn't to say their food is bland, I would say, back to basics. Instead of using sugar with their oats, it was maple syrup and on the side were nuts, fruits and not a pinch of salt that I could taste. This is just a taste of what you can expect. Don't expect to have a whirlwind of flavors, I think they did it right, leaving it simple. The 3 stars is for the outrageous cost and markup on these basic dishes. I don't think I will return, when these are so basic a dish that a child could make them. Still, was refreshing. I'm at a toss up. I give them a 3.5.”

“I frequent this place and I enjoy it! I do not enjoy when my order is not correct! I ordered the bagel with egg and cheese this morning. I asked to have the sausage Put on the side because, I know they have to give it to you, I was told that previously. I got the 2 bagels and yes, the sausage was on both of them.????please listen to your customers! I gave you 4 stars because I like this place and usually you get my order right. However; I did know the girl was not paying any attention when she took my order. No questions were asked and she hurried me through.????”

“We stop here for lunch when we visit Ohio University which is my wife"s alma mater. You order food at the counter in the back. If you just want coffee or a pastry you order in the front. There are a lot of sandwiches to choose. I had the Turkey Reuben which was excellent. The salted caramel cookie was amazing.”

“The owners are super involved with the daily operations here, I love seeing owners grind with their folks.That being said you can see the result of that hard work in the final product, it’s quality all the way. I have been coming for years and have never had a bad meal. I just tried their veggie burrito with bacon,IT WAS AWESOME! This is the best bakery in Athens, it’s tough to say that because it’s so much more than that. Try it and see, it will not disappoint.”
