    You need to know Spanish or go with someone who does (we didn't). While the food and service was decent, they didn't serve what most Americans think of as Mexican food. The place was packed so I'm fairly sure that it was quite authentic, but it wasn't what we were expecting. If you have someone to tell you what the dishes are, I'm sure you might enjoy the selection, but not knowing what the items were, we were reluctant to try things we couldn't identify.

    Authentic. It's a complete dump but the food is fabulous. It helps if you can speak at least some Spanish. The fried whole tilapia is great as are the tamales
