Veracruz Mexican Restaurant

Have been here so many times. It's our go to for lunches out even with a 30 minute drive. Everyone is always friendly, the food is always quick and did good. I've tried many of their dishes and never been disappointed.

The food here is better than I thought it would be. And our waitress was fun to talk to. I will go again.

My new favorite Mexican place! Huge portions I get 3 meals off one thing!! Really quality food and a nice comfortable atmosphere. I also saw a staff member help an elderly man up out of his seat and it was just very kind. They have the most friendly staff. Definitely reccomend this place

Veracruz is a hidden gem off Elliot Drive just to the north of 122 (Roosevelt Blvd) but well worth the experience. The restaurant is large inside with a variety of seating options. The atmosphere is positively Mexican. They have a huge extended menu with many choices in each of beef, chicken, seafood, or pork or just abundant cheese. In addition to all the Mexican entrees you will find in the best Mexican restaurants, Veracruz has additional side dishes that are deliciously prepared such as their grilled sauted mushrooms. Their guacamole is authentic. Of course their chips and salsa are just what the Mexicans prefer. They have non-alcoholic beverages as well as beer, wine and margaritas made to order. Their individual attention to each customer and waiter or waitress services are superb. Veracruz is quite moderately priced. The restaurant sells a large selection of their own, bright colorful designer T-shirts.

Had been here when they first opened a few years ago, and wasn't impressed. Came back for another try and I'm totally impressed! The food is FANTASTIC ! The service is both fast and friendly. The decor has changed and it's totally cool. They have a full bar with delicious margaritas and other specialty drinks. Jessica was our server and was very knowledgeable about the menu and made great recommendations. They tell me the bathrooms are being renovated currently. Prices are competitive. I will definitely be back, often !
