“Part of this place is definitely the experience. Restaurant is beautiful and wait staff were excellent (hopefully this continues past their limited reservation soft opening period). Waitress started out with explaining menu is designed as a true Italian experience with 5 courses and designed to let the ingredients shine with their dishes not being seasoned except for a little salt. Ordered the chopped salad, mushroom and onion soup, and a porterhouse steak. Others I were dining with ordered the chicken piccata and veal bolognese. One thing I would recommend to the restaurant is translate the menu, most people in Butler county don’t speak Italian nor are cultured enough to know what it means without speaking the language. I also ordered the Primo 77 drink, something with elderflower liqueur and other “fancy” alcohol. The drink was delicious, could barely taste that it had alcohol but definitely had plenty in it giving a good buzz after only one. The chopped salad didn’t sound overly exciting but was easily one of the best salads I’ve ever had and the others I was dining with agreed. You should note they only have vinaigrettes and Caesar dressing. Next was the soup, I’m a big fan of both mushrooms and French onion soup and this was the perfect marriage of the two. Some French onion soups can be overly salty but this was just right, the wild mushrooms really added a lot of flavor and depth, I would definitely recommend trying it. The steak was cooked perfectly and had a reasonable amount of flavor given there was nothing but some course sea salt sprinkled on top. I would definitely get steak again. The veal bolognese was okay…presentation was a bit lacking in my opinion and overall could have had a bit more flavor from either the sauce or some seasoning. Chicken piccata fell in the same boat as the veal, okay but I felt it could’ve had more flavor. One thing to point out is everything is al a carte, no sides with anything. Overall, the food was good, some dishes better than others. From a value perspective, I feel the pricing doesn’t align though. Given they are trying to be a high end restaurant (which I’m not entirely sure Middletown is the best location choice), their pricing is above competitors like Jags, Carlo & Johnny, and Carvers. Maybe once they have their official grand opening in May things will change some, for now worth a try but probably won’t be back again until after the grand opening in hope that will allow menu to be perfected and value to be aligned with the market.”

“An unexpectedly phenomenal breakfast. We checked out "the Cracked Pot Coffee and Crepes" looking for a chill breakfast out of the house and boy did they deliver a perfect morning. The crepes were perfectly cooked and HUGE. Bring an appetite or a friend to share. We got the chicken club and a blueberry crepes. The restaurant is small but not cramped and the seating is sturdy and substantial for people who care about comfy seating. The music was good classic rock (Tom Petty, Fleetwood Mac, etc.) The staff were all so nice and attentive and really helped cheer up an otherwise bleary morning. Decor was festive and cozy. The savory crepes do all include meat but I imagine can be adapted to be vegetarian and you can substitute an omelette in place of the crepe for low carb/gluten free options. Don't sleep on the Cracked Pot Coffee and Crepes!”

“Food is delicious, and very cheap. The only thing this place lacks is decor. The way I describe the vibe inside that restaurant is somewhat lonely or empty, but it doesn't matter when you're with friends. I'd recommend a trio of street tacos , the carne is very good. Don't get cheese on them, as it just gets buried under the delicious fillings. Cheese costs a little extra, and you don't taste it either way.”

“First, I wish to thank the manager (PK) for running a well-oiled machine. All of the staff members are very friendly and they go out of the way to ensure that your order is delivered quickly, but more importantly, accurately. I think PK can take much of the credit for all of this. As another reviewer said, PK works as hard as his staff members. Consequently, he is leading by example, a quality of leadership that is hard to find these days. This Dairy Queen is close to my home and I’m so glad to have Dairy Queen in Middletown!”

“Awesome! I'm not sure if theres new management, new ownership of this particular store, but what a HUGE difference in service. Not to mention, the food was really, really good! What caught my attention, though, was one of the employees behind the counter looking out in the dining area where there were about six to eight of us. Asking, "everything okay?" Then, the constant cleaning of tables and areas. I'm happily impressed and told my husband we will be back!”

“Well this was a pleasant surprise. Who knew that Middletown had an upscale restaurant with Middletown prices? They even offer live music on the weekends. We just loved this place. The owners came out and talked to us. The restaurant is called Vue 791 and it is located at the Forest Hills Country Club. You do NOT have to be a member to eat in the restaurant. We are not members (yet). The restaurant is Mediterranean themed with exotic favorites like baba ghanoush. Don't let that scare you off. There is plenty of Midwest "normal" food to eat. But on that topic you must have the baclava. If that sounds like scary foreign food, you are wrong. Just image a decadent cinnamon pastry filled with butter and the flavor of almond. It will make your toes tingle. This place definitely qualifies for Middletown Proud.”

“Crispy Fish & Chicken should add Burgers to their name, because the burgers are absolutely delicious!! I ordered the Cod dinner the first time I went and it was just okay, really small pieces compared to other fish and chicken joints in the area, and didn't come close to filling the surface of the plate so presentation had me disappointed before taking a bite. Next time ordered a burger, and wow, this is their specialty that makes them stand out. The burger was fantastic and I highly recommend a burger from this place.”

“Ok what can I say about this place. The chocolate milkshake I got was heavenly. Thick and creamy so much better then anywhere else I've had one. The double cheeseburger was so much bigger then I thought it was going to be. It was a nice change to have a different kind of lettuce on the burger. Make sure you have napkins as well.
