Forest Hills Country Club Vue 791

Well this was a pleasant surprise. Who knew that Middletown had an upscale restaurant with Middletown prices? They even offer live music on the weekends. We just loved this place. The owners came out and talked to us. The restaurant is called Vue 791 and it is located at the Forest Hills Country Club. You do NOT have to be a member to eat in the restaurant. We are not members (yet). The restaurant is Mediterranean themed with exotic favorites like baba ghanoush. Don't let that scare you off. There is plenty of Midwest "normal" food to eat. But on that topic you must have the baclava. If that sounds like scary foreign food, you are wrong. Just image a decadent cinnamon pastry filled with butter and the flavor of almond. It will make your toes tingle. This place definitely qualifies for Middletown Proud.

Second time playing great course and staff

Very nice short 9 holes course, mainly par 3s but a couple of real par 4s. Course was in good condition today. A very walkable 9 holes.

Golfed for the first time there yesterday. Excellent customer service, great atmosphere. Will definitely get a membership for the family.

We had Our Christmas Party at The Forest Hills Country Club Today.
The Staff was absolutely wonderful.
The food was very delicious and the Chefs had done an exceptional job.
The wait staff were very professional and friendly.
This was my first visit to The Forest Hills Country Club.
