Bruno's Pizza

I had been wanting to visit Bruno's for a long time. When I was a kid, I bicycled 20 miles to get to Oxford on a lark. Stopped at Bruno's, saw them hand tossing the dough up above their heads to stretch the dough.

This trip I stopped in on this visit when they were just opening up at 5pm. Asked how long they were open - 2:30 am. Thought okay, I'll just come back later. Came back at 8:55pm, the dining room was closed. Closed at 9pm, If you want to dine in, its okay from 5 - 9pm. If you come later then just do what I did order pizza to go, and take it back to the hotel. It was good, not quite as good as Giordano's in Chicago, but still very good.

Just like I always remembered! On this trip, I tried the American sub!! It was delicious! The sandwich was outstanding, and the bun was perfectly toasty and soft! Our server was delightful and sweet! For dessert, I had a slice of pepperoni from the window as I left!!

A must place to visit to get pizza during a college visit, or after a good night out on the town.

Pretty good, Gotten much better of the years. Glad to see it! Just wish you guys would add better drinking options. Would order more from here. (maybe get some 2liters in your drinks)

Fantastic slice pies, yummy chicken tenders- a classic Oxford place. It's a unique kind of pizza for the Midwest, similar to NYC slices. It's not trying to be Domino's or Papa John's-- their tried and true recipe may be an acquired taste for newcomers, but it has been an Oxford staple for more than 40 years. Quick friendly delivery. We really appreciate Bruno's.
