“My wife & I stopped in for dinner last night to check out Oxford's newest dining experience. The Pickle & Pig. We have been needing a restaurant like this in Oxford for a long time. This is not a restaurant aimed at the college market. Instead, it's menu & services are aimed at adults who want a pleasant dining experience & parents of college students. The decor is simple & pleasant. We had a great dining experience. The food and drinks were wonderful. The wait staff was courteous, polite & very helpful. We give our waiter (Mason) high marks. The bar was well stocked with mid & semi high tier bourbons as well as all your other favorites. Since the Pickle & Pig is so new I have included the menus they had at the time. We would definitely dine here again & again. We highly recommend that all of us "Townies" support the Pickle & Pig in their endeavor. Note: We went during their soft opening & staff training period. Since dinner was "on the house" I can not give specific $$ for our dinners. I am assuming this would be a medium to medium high priced establishment.”

“Our family was in town for a weekend wedding. About 12 of us met there Friday for lunch on our way in. Our waitress was fantastic, brought carrots and dip for the kids, was very friendly and attentive. The food and drinks were great. The next day we were looking for a place for our group to watch the OSU game before the wedding. We went back and they gave us the back room so the kids could move around again the food, drinks and wait staff was fantastic. This was probably a group of 30. So on Sunday as we were heading out of town, looking for a place for 20 of us to have brunch, every place was packed, it was 11:00 so we went back to the Gaslight! It was great again! Wonderful staff, menu variety! Your place made our weekend go so smoothly!!”

“I will defintiely be returning and can confidently call this place my favorite "bar" in oxford. The atmosphere and vibe of the whole place is perfect. Just loud enough for normal conversation to be accpetable but calm and quiet enough to be almost relaxing. Outstanding beer selection and exceptional food alongside great service. Books available to read or be purchased and board games to play with the gang. Cannot suggest enough. The only downfall was the particular music choice. Good music, but 90s rock/grunge did not fit the vibe as well as a different genre would have.”
