“My family and I have been going here since 2004. This location is our favorite. We have never had bad service and we have never had mediocre service either. The owner always makes us feel special and always remembers what my picky youngest gets. I hope this restaurant stays open for a long time and am not too thrilled that the other new Gold Star opened so close to this one. We refuse to go to the new one because new is not always better. You just can’t beat the nostalgia, and family friendly atmosphere this seasoned location brings to the table.”

“The food is amazing!! one of my favorite places to eat. The steak and chicken are top notch. usually you get the worse peace of meat in places that serve this style of food but here all the meat is tender with great flavor..not meat flavored gristle. This place would get 6 stars if they served with real serving ware and had a more quaint dinning area, my only fear is i love the amount of food i get in these big boxes. “The food and service was great! You would have gotten a 5 star rating but it was raining and a commercial grass cutter was allowed to cut the grass and it got all over all the patrons cars. Of course it stuck. I wish I would have taken a picture. This was on Mother's Day. My son needed to hose my car off when it stopped raining. TERRIBLE mess!!!”

The man behind the counter (doesn't matter if he is foreign or not, like a lot of these reviewers are commenting, who cares?) was not overly rude or overly pleasant, he just asked me what I wanted, made the sandwich and thanked me .That's all that is required, I think. I wasn't expecting him to reach out and greet me with open arms. And yes, it is a little more expensive than others, but they also have day of the week deals, so if you want to save money, quit being picky and buy those. It wont kill you.”

“I absolutely love their apple fritters. They are the best I have had. Hands down. The service is fast and friendly. The donuts are always fresh and delicious. I love their iced coffee. I am addicted lol. Sometimes they are very busy. I recommend going as early as possible to get what you want. If you go inside, drop a tip in the cup for them. It gets quite hectic in there and they work hard for their money.”
