I never knew the La Crepe Bakery & Café existed until a friend took me here last week. A good crepe is hard to find these days. The crepes were very tasty and filling! The best I had eaten in years. I would absolutely recommend this place.
Popped in as we were passing through unsure if this was a quick bite kind of place or more sit down. We didn't have a lot of time so it just got a tea and a croissant to go. The croissant was soooo delicious! The crepes looked amazing, I really want to come back and try one when I have the time to sit and enjoy.
I’m always looking for breakfast spots bc it’s my favorite meal. A good crepe is hard to find and this little spot did not disappoint. They have savory and sweet crepes, enough to please even the pickiest of eaters, aka, my 6 year old. Located in a college town, it’s a little tough to find, and there was only one worker taking on 5 orders. But she did a great job and the crepes were excellent.
La Crepe Bakery and Cafe is a quaint establishment to try European style food made with crepes. Crepes are made to order and a great portion for the price. Staff is very nice and welcoming. Борщ was delicious. My mother and I had savory crepes with time but will be back again to try sweet variations. Definitely a hidden gem in Berea.
The crepes are amazing. I love the options. Some very unique. I thought the price was maybe high but the amount of for the give you makes it more than worth it! I didn't ask if you can customize anything BUT they can do gluten free crepes! The coffee wasn't bad. I got poured with cream and sugar - it's definitely a darker blend which wasn't bad. My husband really enjoyed it but he likes darker blends more than I do. The space is friendly and quiet. Simple decor, clean and well put together. Plenty of room with a mix of tables and booths which I love. The pastries look beautiful but my husband and I each got one to take home and we were not impressed. They bring them in from elsewhere and they tasted like they had sit in a fridgeration system too long. Or like they were frozen then sitting in the cooler for a while. I got something with cake in it and it was really wet inside so the cake was like bad mousse. The chocolate also tasted stale. But I'd still go for the crepes!!
