The food here is always great, and they are very accommodating for my sister-in-law who has a severe gluten allergy. She is able to have everything besides the soup - they have a gluten free soy sauce for her!
I enjoyed the chef, he was pretty funny. I ordered the teriyaki salmon & steamed white rice. Surprisingly you only get rice OR noodles, that wasn't a problem for me, I wasn't going to eat either. With my meal you get onion broth soup, salad with ginger dressing and two hibachi shrimp. All of the food was great. The server was polite and checked on us frequently. My meal was fairly priced at $18. My friend ordered the shrimp hibachi which came with 15 jumbo shrimp, plus the 2 complimentary shrimp that comes with each meal, price at $18. I would recommend them.
The sushi here is always great. I used to get the steak hibachi lunch all the time when I worked closer which is also good.
For those of you that like sushi, the chef is a really good guy and will take care of you. If you sit at the sushi bar you will get it right when its done which means you get the sushi when the rice is still warm.
The hibachi is great but I prefer to eat on the sushi side at dinner so I dont have to go through the spectacle. Also means you can get food faster.
We originally were going to another hibachi place, but the wait was over an hour for 4 people. So, we came here and I'm glad we did! Our chef was Roy. The food he made was delicious and the jokes were great! We loved his personality. My 7 yr old daughter was with us and was SUPER entertained. We had steak, scallops, mako shark, and chicken. Everything was great. The miso soup was flavorful, the ginger salad dressing was tasty and not runny, and the rice was cooked well. This was our first time here, but we'll definitely be back for the food, entertainment, and great prices!
Run of the mill Hibachi restaurant. Lackluster dining experience. Nothing to write home about. Service was solid but could be improved. Ordered a crown on the rocks, and the drink appeared and tasted as though it had been sitting on ice for an hour. The drink was replaced with hot sake quickly and with no fuss. Unfortunately no follow up from management occurred. The food was good but left no lasting impression. Reasonably priced with OK service, but I would not return.
