Lobster & Pho

Inside a strip mall. Medium size place with a bar, as well as, lots of table seating. They have a great happy hour. Bottles of house wine $15. (Dark Horse) We ordered chicken Pho, the broth was delicious. The calamari app was reason for 4 stars. The tempura batter was almost light enough but there was no flavor from seasoning. The service was fast and efficient. We always had fresh drinks and attention. I will be back to try the Lobster!

Wow, mouth watering aromas greet you at the door, and the food, so delicious. Seafood boils. 5 spiced beef, Indian flatbread with curry sauce (just killer). I'm going back for the spicy pho! And great service to boot.

Food was awesome!! Started with calamari which was good, and got a seafood boil, The Ultimate for our entree and it was delish!! Most tender clams and mussels I've ever eaten! The corn was tasty, and potatoes cooked to perfection ... nice and fluffy on the inside.

My only complaint would be service and it's a small one ... I'll give 4 out of 5 on that ... server put our check down without asking if we needed or wanted anything else. We were celebrating a friends birthday, and dessert wasn't offered .. I asked my guests if there was anything else they wanted, dessert another drink, etc. One of my guests was still eating when check was dropped. Kind of a pet peeve of mine.

I stopped to get take out here today. I have been wanting to try the Pho since they opened. So I chose a chicken based one and the other a rare steak to share with my significant other. The Pho chicken broth was just lacking the depth of flavor I was expecting. It was okay and we finished both. I did prefer the flavor of the beef broth the best. But I have had much better Pho's at other local restaurant's. We will go back to try some other items. I may try the vegetable Pho also. It is a cozy space with table and bar seating and a view of the parking lot. There are live clams and lobster in tanks available. They have daily specials, food and drinks.

I wanted to love it, but.... Huge clams were chewy and flavorless, crawfish wasn't as good as I remember it being before, and they call one small snow crab cluster a half pound. On the plus side the shrimp was good and the sausage is awesome.
