“Just moved to Lakewood so they sent us a coupon for a FREE medium pizza with up to 5 toppings! Only local business to do that. Smart move as we'll be ordering again! Ordered traditional crust with half green peppers, and half with bacon and black olives. Also ordered garlic bread. Said it would take about an hour to be delivered. Arrived amidst the Snowpocalypse of 2019 in just 35 min and was still hot! One word: DELICIOUS. The bacon tastes like it's homemade. Garlic bread was just alright, but the pizza was worth a 5 star review. Thanks Roman Fountain!”

“I enjoyed our visit to the Proper Pig. My wife and I stopped here for dinner. They have a relatively small dining room and counter service found at most traditional barbecue places. The menu is straightforward - a selection of the standard barbecue meats, plus one or two unique sandwiches. They also have a good selection of beers as well. I ended up getting the brisket, the pork ribs, and the turkey breast, in addition to potato salad and the smokehouse beans. My wife had the brisket sandwich and cole slaw, both of which she enjoyed. I enjoyed the flavor and bark of the brisket, but I think it might have been cut with the grain, rather than against the grain, which made cutting it somewhat difficult. Otherwise it was good brisket. The pork ribs were fairly simple - I think the rub is mostly salt and pepper and they don’t put any perceptible amount of sauce on them prior to them being served. Instead, a sweet-tangy sauce is available which is quite good. I think the ribs are cooked to the proper amount of tenderness so that they are tender, yet don’t quite fall off the bone. Finally the turkey was very good. Again, it seems like it’s probably a simple salt and pepper rub and the turkey ends up being very peppery. If you like pepper, it’s great, but if not, it won’t be your cup of tea. The turkey is moist and tender. I liked the smokehouse beans a lot. They had a lot of flavor. I was not as big of a fan of the potato salad, which didn’t really seem like a cohesive dish instead of just some chopped potatoes in dressing. Overall, I think this is some of the better BBQ in Cleveland. The value is good - we got all of the food pictured for under $40. I’d rate this as better quality than Mabel’s. There are a couple things to improve on (brisket slicing, sides), however I would definitely come here again and would recommend it to BBQ fans.”

“I am not a vegan or vegetarian and I enjoyed my food immensely. Everything on the menu is vegan, but there are plenty of protein options. We had the "experience," which was a choice of three dishes from the menu columns available. It was a lot of food for two people, but allowed a nice sampling of the menu. The carrot cake pancakes were delicious. We could not tell they were vegan. The loaded nachos as expected, crispy and full of toppings. The Irish Benedict was a good surprise. Good flavors and textures. There are plenty of bakery items available, as well as coffee drinks. The service was good as well, attentive yet not too attentive. Come earlier in the day if you want brunch without a wait.”

The server we had was very kind, but our drinks took quite a while to get to us, but then we waited 41 minutes for our food, which seems like way too long to wait for a pizza and tacos. Someone else brought our food to us, and it was good, but the wait definitely ruined the experience considering it was a Tuesday night and wasn't very busy at all. I'm honestly not sure if I'll be going back or not. It wasn't a very good experience.”

“Went for dinner with six people on a wednesday at 630pm. Not very busy. Hostess said not a word to us when we arrived or when we were seated. We weren't given the option to sit outside. Happy hour was listed as ending at 7pm although the waitress couldn't tell us anything about the happy hour as if the bar area was a totally separate entity than the restaurant. The food was average and overpriced. The only reason I gave 3 stars was for the decor and atmosphere.”
