“Drop everything and go to Naomi's Recipes in Lakewood NOW. Any restaurant that serves fried okra will always get my attention and it did not disappoint. The southern rolls with chicken were delicious. The fried chicken was so juciey, it ran down my chin and the flavor of the meat was outstanding. The mac and cheese was absolutely delicious and the green beans... THE FREAKING GREEN BEANS. Yeah. I could eat an entire bowl of those green nuggets from heaven! The smothered Turkey Chops were out of this world. Left my mouth watering for more. The Collard greens and grilled vegetables were perfectly seasoned. There was zero grease on our plates. That's a plus for me. This food was cooked with care. Gold star for the service as well. We will most definitely be back.”

“I want to give this a five star just because the food is absolutely amazing! Everything was so tasty! I had jerk beef Mac and cheese, oxtail box with rice, cabbage and plantains, and a side of cornbread. No complaints on the food at all! My one concern was the service. I ordered online and when I arrived only two other people were in the store. One who was sitting patiently waiting for a pickup order like myself and the other a walk in. A few minutes later 3 more customers walked in and all of them placed orders then and had the food to go before mine or the person waiting before me received our orders. Another guy came in to pick up an online order and the worker told him “we don’t have that order in our system”. They seemed very unorganized and the fact that walk-ins were getting food before people who ordered 15 mins prior was aggravating. Other than that, no complaints. The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was nice with Jamaican music playing in the background and the store was impeccably clean. Again the food is amazing!! Just need to get a bit more organized and take care of orders that were placed prior to the walk-ins.”

“What an incredible addition to the west side of Lakewood! The building company has done a wonderful job revitalizing the corner here and CLE bagel cafe has already done a wonderful job serving its newest patrons! Bagels are delicious. Love seeing a few extra menu items, mainly sandwiches. There is an ok amount of seating, more than the location closer to downtown which is nice. So excited to welcome them to the neighborhood!”

“Vegans rejoice! What an incredible spot for happy hour or date night. I had been recommended their vegan meatballs thinking, how great can vegan meatballs be? The answer, heavenly! The vegan Caesar & two cocktails I had were also perfect! The bartender was truly talented. The two next to me had a sausage pizza & the first words out of their mouth “wow!” A place for everyone! Can’t recommend enough! Bonus points for having food network on. Love this place!”

“Crispy, light, flavorful pizza in the heart of Lakewood. The interior looks like it has been open for years and has a great charm to it. The pizza feels like a polished product that stands alone above any pizza I've had in the state of Ohio, let alone the greater Cleveland area. Self service model works great for pizza, and the drink selection left nothing to be desired. Lakewood should be proud to have the next great Cleveland food spot located in the heart of the city.”

“This a great go-to for a quick sit-down lunch or dinner. It never seems to be overly busy, so you can get seated quickly. Has plenty of space for young kids too. Very well-prepared food - my favorite being some hummus, the Mediterranean Lamb plate, and a glass of pomegranate green iced tea. They have a ton of delicious desserts to choose from which could be worth the trip alone.”

You have a tavern feeling side A straight up patio that's open year round with those awesome palm tree looking heaters. A warehouse/club side. “I LOVE coming here, a little too much! Right when I walked in I was greeted with a smile and an employee asked me how my day was. All of the smoothies looked so good I couldn’t decide what to get so an employee helped me out! They have so many flavors and supplements to jazz your drink up a little! “Tried Dave's hot chicken today for the first time. Big Nashville hot chicken fan from my many trips to Nashville, and love spicy food. Decided to order the extra hot for my first time. The flavor and spices did def remind me of Nashville style hot chicken, but was not overwhelmingly hot. Did have some kick to it. Would like to come back and try the reaper version to have it hotter. My biggest complaint is that even though my order was ready fast- the chicken itself was not warm. I thought it would be hot like it just came out of the fryer. However, I would say it was room temp at best which was disappointing. Chicken itself overall I would say was average. French fries were very good and seasoned well. There was a decent amount of food leaving leftovers. I'll probably give it a second go at some point.”

“What a great addition to Lakewood that has been a long time in the making! Went at prime dinner time on opening night and had an hour wait; no problem though because we were able to grab beers from the bar to stand around with. Every employee was hustling to get food/drinks delivered, clean up, and make sure guests were well attended. Apps and sandwich entrees were delicious and so were all of the beers! We tried just about every one with none disappointing. Excited to get back to ISB very soon!”
