I was stuck at a red light behind a car that had a blinker rhythm completely different from my own which gave me vertigo. However, the facade of Bob Evans through the window looked pretty nice. If I went in I probably would have ordered some biscuits.
First let me say they were slammed busy and doing everything they could possible to manage the influx. The service was exceptional. We were a party of five. All the orders were accurate. My only issue was the quality of the food. There were quite a few issues. It didn't meet the Bob Evans standard. I can say this because not only have I been a customer for 40 years but a former employee. I had a simple omelet and the portions of the ingredients were way off. It was very uneven and almost half the ingredients outside of the omelet.The eggs were literally see through and the cheese was almost non existent I'm not one to ever send food back. By the time I get my food I've waited as long as I'm going to wait as I don't like to be the only one eating at a table. I couldn't say more for the manager, hostess, and waitress. I' would chalk this experience as an isolated incident but it's not the first time at this location over the years which is the only reason I decided to post.
This is the Bob Evans my family has gone to for seven years. Are they perfect? No. But whenever there is an issue they go above and beyond to correct. My kids love being there and the team is always so kind, patient, and attentive to them which helps when you want to eat some too! LOL I highly recommend this location.
Food is very good. Sometimes the service is not great. The younger servers need better customer service training. One time, we both got coffee and did not get a single refill. Another time, the server was in such a hurry it seemed like fast food service. I understand being busy, but if you're short staffed, that is a management issue.
