Old Carolina Barbecue Company

Was first time going to the place ordered a ranchero dog and heel tar dog, stuff waited till order was almost ready and then told that they're out of hot dog buns. I was already waiting for a minute and didn't really feel like changing the order, got hamburger buns instead, that would have been okay however the hot dogs were shriveled-up like they were made in the microwave. My first experience wasn't all that great. It was around $9.60 for two hot dogs and a drink. Everyone was professional and friendly.

My fiancé and I are very interested in having BBQ at our wedding so we went to Old Carolina to try the food. We went with my parents and ordered many different items. Overall we were not impressed. The only meat option we liked were the ribs, but the pulled pork wasn't too bad. The mac and cheese and green beans were very good, I would go back for those two items. The staff was very kind though and the store was clean.

Middleburg go to barbecue places in the area. Consistently good service, and food. Really enjoy this place 1 week old. The brisket is top notch, the pulled chicken is awesome, and the baked beans, mac and cheese, and cornbread and really mimic what you could get at a Carolina style barbecue. Highly recommend!

Order at the counter and they bring the food to you at your table. Menu is pretty much limited to ribs and pulled pork. Can't speak to the ribs, but the pulled pork was excellent. Coleslaw, baked beans, french fries, corn muffins were all tasty. Nice selection of sauces were available on the side from self serve dispensers. Overall the business model seemed kind of like Chipotle, but the food is better and can be made more flavorful if you want it to be.

Solid BBQ. Got to try a bunch of different things. The wings were great and so was the pulled pork. I didn't care for the pulled chicken, but that's not really BBQ anyways. Workers were all very nice and helpful. Definitely will be going back.
