Our first time in Gino’s!
Excellent food!! Everything we had was so delicious! I’m Italian and picky about my sauce, meatballs etc. Very pleased.
The portions were large! We took half of our meals home.
Our server Julianna was the most pleasant server I’ve had in a long time! Watching the staff interact with customers, smiling and chatting was very nice to see.
I loved the black and white old photos around the restaurant.
We will be back!!
Very happy to have good Italian food in a nice restaurant, in Strongsville.
We will be regulars.
5 star. Highly recommend!
Overall I would say that my experience here was really positive and I liked the food. The chicken alfredo was good, although my chicken was slightly overcooked and the char made it taste bitter. I’m assuming that was a one time thing though. The pasta was cooked perfectly and the sauce was rich and flavorful. Much better than most generic Italian restaurants I’ve been to. Great wait staff and everyone here was really nice. This is a really nice restaurant and I am looking forward to coming back and trying one of their sandwiches for lunch when I have time.
I’ve eaten there several times. The food is authentic Italian home cooking and their bar food is always piping hot and delicious. Marinara sauce is so fresh and homemade tasting. Prices are good and service was fast. Always busy since they just opened so we make reservations so there is no wait to be seated. This will be a weekly stop for us.
Went on 12/9. Be patient. Understaffed and very popular. The wait is worth it. Deeeelicious food. Did I say how awesome the food is? Best meatballs I’ve ever had. Cavatelli was out of this world. Affordable priced and sizable portions. Staff was busting their butts as was one of the owners. Employees are super kind. Respect. We’ll be back for sure.
Everything here is adequate. The decor hasn't changed at all since Panini's, it's almost identical minus a few minor changes. Gino's is well staffed with capable workers all around, unlike some other restaurants nearby post pandemic. The menu is generic but has a unique twist here and there. The wine list is great and fairly priced, I'll include pictures of that and everything we ate Gino's minus the salad, everyone knows what a salad looks like. The starter bread was nice, unexpectedly good and set a good indicator for what could follow. The provolone wedges were just as you'd expect. The entree salads were average, nothing to write home about. The entrees themselves really sealed the deal for us. Chicken parmesan was stunning start to finish and so was the pasta bolognese. The bolognese sauce is very sweet but welcome with a unique pork and beef mixture base. The marinara sauce was typical, nothing unusual just your textbook pasta sauce. Our bill was $56 excluding tip for a water, glass of red wine, app, and two entrees. Lots of competition here in Strongsville for food but this location will more than likely thrive. Plenty of demand for Italian restaurants and there is little to no competition within 0.5 miles and with 47,000 hungry residents in Strongsville I'm sure Gino's will be around to stay. We are curious to try the bar area inside and the outdoor patio once spring 2023 comes around.
