Abuelo's Mexican Restaurant

My husband and 1.5yr old daughter went to dinner and had a great experience. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the food was delicious. I had the vegetarian fajitas and loved it! As a vegetarian, I appreciate there being such a yummy dish on your menu for me.

Excellent and they have a ridiculously extensive menu. My daughter could barely choose. She thoroughly enjoyed her meal. It was her first time here. My fajitas were so tasty. We will definitely be back.

Mother's day lunch with the wife! We felt that all of the sauces were too watery. Other than that Abuelo's offered a nice setting and good food. The prices were average. The attention to customers was poor; I never got my glass for my beer which I ordered prior to the appetizers, I even reminded the waiter!! I'd order to go next time.

I wish I didn't have to drive all the way to Cleveland, but still worth it; I'd eat it everyday if I could. Not authentic, but the food is amazing. The shredded beef is the best beef I've ever had, full of flavor and practically melts in your mouth. I could be served a bowl of just that and id be happy. They did get rid of my favorite dish, Sonora, but it doesn't matter, I've never had a bad meal. The drinks are really good, service is always amazing. I highly recommend no matter how far you need to drive; whether it's around the corner or an hour. I wish I was eating it right now.

Friday night was my first time eating at Abuelo's. It was great! They serve a green chili mango salsa with their chips that is awesome! The tacos were very good, loved the rice. The service could have been a little better but I don't hold it against our server or any of the servers. The management needs to hire more or schedule more for a Friday night. I'll give our server credit. She was very attentive given being understaffed. I'm looking forward to going back!
