If you have not been, please go! The food was great! I’m picky about coleslaw so just being honest it has a little more vinegar than I like but just personal preference. Everyone is different! The meat is so tender and very little fat. Very nice people, we live an hour away and will be going back!

AWESOME food and GREAT service. Employees don’t treat you like a “customer” but more like a friend, always making sure you are taken care of and have everything you need. You can tell they take pride in what they do and want you to have the best experience possible. LOVE this place!

If you haven't eaten here, GO, RUN, and for heavens sake try the brisket grilled cheese. Hands down the BEST sandwich I've ever had in life, it's hands down the best sandwich in town, or ANY town around for that matter. Everything was so delicious, fresh and quick! Don't even get me started on that banana pudding, it literally almost brought me to tears. It was the closest I had tasted to my late grandfather's famous banana pudding ever. So go, don't hesitate, I promise y'all won't regret it! The owners were so friendly and helpful we will DEFINITELY be back! Keep it up guys, y'all are exactly what defiance needed!

Was hands down the best BBQ I've ever eaten. Having eaten BBQ in some of the most popular cities, cities known for BBQ, I went in a little skeptical. I was floored with how good EVERY SINGLE item was. I felt like all the BBQ I had eaten in my life was just practice to help me prepare for how good Maverick's is. Friendly service, good pricing, healthy portions. 10/10 would recommend to anyone living or passing through Northwest Ohio.

Absolutely amazing!!!!! Just went here for the first time. New to town and really wanted some good barbecue and this was exactly what I was craving!! So flavorful and tender!!! Incredibly friendly and fantastic service!!! Anyone not sure where to go to eat definitely try this whether it be date night or family lunch/dinner or even just yourself. Great portion sizes! My kids loved it so much also!
