Authentic Italian here!! Let me just say my husband & I were skeptical of eating here, we walked in & the decor is definitely lacking, lol, but we were seated within a few minutes & our server, Jack, took great care of us! We ordered fried mushrooms & fried ravioli as appetizers, and I ordered a chicken & pasta dinner, while my husband ordered the prime rib. The meals came with a house salad & the most amazing, fresh & warm garlic bread. Everything came quickly & tasted absolutely delicious! I’m so glad we gave this place a try. I’ve read other reviews that said service was slow, but that was not our experience at all. They do seem to be at limited staff, but they are all very friendly & all
worked together to keep things flowing. We enjoyed the upbeat tempo of the Italian music being played to set the tone of an Italian atmosphere. If I could fault them for anything, I’d say it was the tableware that didn’t include a pasta spoon to help twirl the pasta, but that in no way took away from the terrific meal. They are working on getting their liquor license, so I’m looking forward to being able to pair a nice wine with our meal soon. I will definitely be going back, and very much look forward to it! Please do yourself & Defiance a favor by eating here and keeping them around for a long time! Portion sizes are great & priced right. We will be spreading the word about Sam’s!

Best chicken Alfredo I have had in years. Was definitely worth the wait.

Everything was awesome! The food, delicious! The service, excellent! Can’t wait till our next visit. They were short staffed but still did a great job. Be patient. It is well worth it!

The very best Italian that I can remember having in so long and quite a gem to find in Defiance. Ordered the "Chicken Picata" (added Capers).

Every bite was heaven and delight to have.

My mom ordered "Chicken Primavera" with marinara sauce. Taste was smooth, fresh, pleasing and flavors blended epically!
