    Seldom am I surprised by culandary delight, especially Italian in Ohio. As I walked into the new restaurant Speck in Delaware, I was greeted by "Marc, hello", a familiar voice but then another resounding, "Hello Marc!".

    A few surprises awaited me; the first a new fresh drink for me, a Brazilian Caipiriniha. The second, Spring Pappardelle and then dessert. A shocking Panna Cotta and a very unique creamy Lemoncello.

    The pasta is made fresh daily and as soon as you taste it you'll understand why it matters. If I'm going to eat pasta, it must be fresh, otherwise there simply is no point. Chef Josh Dalton and his team have designed a wonderful menu and successfully executed it. Even the playlist was very unique, bright and eclectic.

    The hostess Abbie and the reason I stepped back in Anña, are both knowledgeable and entertaining. Their suggestions led me to receiving an exquisite dinner.

    To qoute a bit from their menu; "Our dishes have been thoughtfully developed with intention to be both delicious and playful."

    I cannot recommend this newcomber restaurant any higher and it is very rare for me to give a five star rating anywhere in the world.

    Outstanding! My husband & I had the confit wings, oysters, gem lettuce, crab linguine, mushroom polenta, & panna cotta for dessert. Delicious! Well done Chef Josh!
