The Old Bag of Nails Pub

Me and a friend went there to eat, was around 9:30 pm, Friday night. This Friday was our town's (1st Friday), which is a monthly celebration. The pub was, and always is clean, excellent environment. Waitresses warm hearted, always try to please, and usually follow through. Love their meals, especially the chicken basket, their fish plate is a favorite for most people. Prices are great, especially for the quality, and atmosphere. Highly recommend, and they have several locations.

A convenient place to grab some decent food and drinks in Delaware. The menu has many options from sandwiches, to salads, to meatloaf, but anything deep fried (like their fish & chips) is where they are strongest. Portions are large so bring a healthy appetite or prepare to carry something home. I prefer their comfortable booths to the tables. They also have a very nice patio with bar and covered areas when the weather permits...

It wasn’t great but it wasn’t bad either. Service was adequate but not memorable. We had the sauerkraut balls which were actually quite tasty. Plenty of beer choices. Bottom line .... I think there are better options nearby, but this will be an acceptable choice too.

Had a great lunch with friends at Delaware location. Seated when we first arrived. Waitress was great, drinks out fast, refilled often. Meals were hot and delicious and served right up without a wait. Our bill was presented soon after eating. Will go back again, great experience.
