Ray Ray's Hog Pit Westerville

I was raised in Kansas City so my standards for bbq are very high, plus I'm finicky about food in general. If I pay for food from someone else I want it to be worth my hard earned money.
This is the only place I will go to for bbq in Ohio. They grill and smoke everything fresh right there at their grill. The grass fed beef brisket is only on sundays, but it was really delicious!! I had that at the Clintonville location and the regular brisket at this location. I had the mustard based sauce which I didn't have high expectations for (and my husband hates mustard) and the sweet bbq sauce. We agreed both were VERY good and surprising in a good way! My husband had no idea the other sauce had mustard in it!
10/10, and totally worth the money. ????

Dont have to travel to texas for GREAT bbq, right amount of smoke and cooked to perfection!! Pickled onions are great too, will return when ever i come to town, thanks for doing it RIGHT!

Usually Ray Rays is on the top of their game. However recently they are a bit inconsistent. I'd recommend skipping the ribs and indulging in the jerk chicken or the hot links for some real flavor!

Ray Ray's was very good comfort BBQ. I got the sandwich, which was delicious and I love their BBQ sauce! The meat is tender and seasoned well. I enjoy being able to sit outside, when it's a nice outside. I'm glad they opened this location because it's near me and parking is a breeze.
There's plenty of parking, but not enough tables to sit at! There's no actually restaurant structure, everything is outside. You walk up to the window to order and they give it to you, when it's done and there are picnic benches and tables available. Make sure to ask for plenty of napkins because it will get messy. I love it and I will come back to try all of their entrees!
Staff was very nice and even suggested what to get. Bring your family, friends, a casual date, for some good food.

This is just starting to be a 50/50 shot at which type of bbq you get. Sometimes amazing, other times no meat on the ribs and they don’t look over the fat on the pulled pork. A little attention to detail, especially for the price. If consistent, would give 4 stars.
