Shortys Pizza & GROWL

Decent pizza at an average price. This place stands out for its family-friendly bar and grille experience. Chalk-drawn walls and pin-ball machines to play. Unique half-pound bacon appetizer was delicious!

We came to Shortys for a birthday celebration yesterday and had a blast. My friends said this place had the best pizza around and after tasting the pizza, I definitely agree. We also ordered wings which were just as amazing. Our server did a great job at the massive table of 20. The food arrived fairly quick for how packed it was. If you’re in the area you definitely want to stop here and try their pizza and wings.

Came to check this establishment out for lunch on a Sunday. On the recommendation of one of the owners we had wings and a little pizza. Both of which they are famous for. We had the Johns Hot Sauce, Plum and regular hot. Johns Hot Sauce were the bomb! They make it themselves and it is hot but won’t kill your taste buds and has a lot of flavor! The Plum were great but sticky and the regular hot were good. Best wings we have found in Columbus so far. The pizza was good. A little greasy in the middle for us. But pizza is hard when you have really good cheese on it. We would order it again. John is a great guy and really took great care of us. Only reason they get a four is the place was full of kids and they apparently don’t have parents that make them Not yell and run and act like fools. The staff were great and patient with that crowd. Def try this place out. He did say if kids aren’t your thing come later and it usually is more adult friendly.

Friendly, reasonable price. Had some wings and apps and a chef salad. One wing was super over cooked, but the rest we're good. Chef salad was meaty. Mac n cheese bites, rings and pretzels we're really good as well. Server/bartender was friendly and super accommodating in trying new beers.

Best Taco pizza I've tasted in years! Quaint decor is a location with enough parking. Decent selection of REAL beers compared to so many places in Powell. Seemed a little understaffed when we went, but it wasn't bad... Sean was as attentive as he possible could given the amount of people there.
