Ordered a large deli sandwich to-go to share. The ingredients were high quality and the potato chips were homemade – a plus. Most places don't take time to handcraft chips and instead serve generic prepackaged chips. Everything was good, but not to the "out of this world" caliber of creative taste. My only complaint is the very expensive prices ($16) for a deli sandwich. This might drive some customers away. And you get the same amount of food and quality with Great Lakes Grinders down the street, at half the price. The restaurant was very clean and I look forward to trying the salad bar during my next visit. I didn't quite understand the strictness of the place (another reviewer noted the same) especially with the unusual rules written on the menus ( Such as "Don't bother employees and other clients." "Don't scream when making complaints"). Such a notation would seem written in a liquor bar as opposed to a daytime cafe in a Midwestern small downtown. Overall, this place fills a void in downtown Sandusky and I hope the business thrives.
Had Sunday breakfast at the Bell. Great service and good food. Can't wait to try the deli for lunch
Good food, service was a bit slow as it took awhile to get our food, but that's probably due to just opening up. Hopefully it gets better as they get acclimated. Strict menu, as I asked if I could add a topping to an omelette and our waitress said no, that they preferred no variations from the menu. We will come back again and give it another try. Would like to buy from the deli, a little pricey it seems but hopefully the deli items are worth it.
