Ale House 1890

Very good food but every time I go, we end up waiting over an hour for a table. I've also been disappointed with their portions. Give me more pasta!

Ale House staff were uniformly friendly and it was not an act , that is just who they were. The menu offers interesting combinations which is something missing in most restaurants. The service was timely and efficient and the food and drink from the bar spot on. The atmosphere is enjoyable and cozy for a nice date or a friendly get together.

Perfect place to dine! Wonderful food, great atmosphere and a knowledgeable friendly staff. We have never had a bad meal there, ever! Oh, did I mention they have a really good selection of craft beers among other libations? They do!! Enjoy!

We visited this great restaurant with my son and daughter in law yesterday. The food was great and the service was the best. Our waiter was attentive, offered recommendations, and was so polite. Highly recommend this restaurant! We ordered the shrimp scampi, fish and chips and one of their signature burgers. All were hot, well prepared and delicious.

I loved this place, I wish Ihad known about it sooner. There's something great about restaurants in a small town. The decor is upscale modern with exposed wood/industrial ceilings. Great food, awesome atmosphere. Definitely an unexpected hidden gem for Lancaster.
