Bob's Backyard Barbecue and Cafe

I just recently moved back here from Tennessee. The state where there are some of the best bbq places around. I was skeptical about trying this place, because of being spoiled in the south. I was amazingly surprised. This place is terrific. You can't give 6 stars or I would have. The meat was delicious. The price is not bad at all. The staff was friendly. This has to be the best place I've eaten at in Lancaster. Thank you staff and cooks you all did a great job.

I was traveling through Lancaster and was hungry. I went to Google maps, and Bob's sounded like my kind of place. I wasn't disappointed. I had the beef brisket. It was very flavorful and melt in your mouth tender. The sandwich included a side of their wonderful seasoned homemade chips. I was just traveling through, but if I lived in that town I would probably eat at Bob's several times a week.

I’ve eaten at this local Lancaster, Ohio, restaurant a number of times, but I recently tried the ultimate pork sundae and WOW! It’s so good! The Mac-n-Cheese provides the perfect base for the pork, onions, and tomatoes. The flavors all coalesce in your mouth for a comfort food treat that will have you wanting more. Next time, it’ll try the ultimate brisket sundae because if the pork was that good, the brisket will be to die for! I highly recommend that you check this restaurant out in the heart of historic downtown Lancaster, Ohio. You won’t be disappointed. Unless, of course, you don’t like excellent barbecue.

Great food and friendly service. I love eating local and we'll definitely be coming back. I had a sandwich with the brisket and my fiance' had the chicken. Both were good, mine was better. The chips and fries were also very good.

Best brisket ever! So tender and flavorful. Reasonable prices, friendly service. I also enjoyed some wings with a garlic aioli sauce and some mac n cheese.
