I ordered 2 of the pulled chicken lunch specials. The Mac & Cheese was pretty good, the baked beans were horrible. I don’t know if they’ve been sitting around for awhile but they were complete mush and I did not like them at all. I ended up giving it to my dog. The corn muffin was good and the pulled chicken was a little dry but the sauce saved the day. Overall a decent place for a quick bite.

I tried the pulled pork lunch. Sandwich was wonderful, and the coleslaw had a great taste to it. I used the original sauce on the sandwich which was awesome as well. The cornbread muffin was perfect. Just the right amount of dryness to it. The beans however weren’t anything stellar. They weren’t terrible, but tasted like any other baked beans I’ve had.

The food was excellent. Ribs were very tasty and the pulled chicken was also very good. The green beans were fresh and seasoned very well.

The 5 stars are for the food. But the one thing that needs to be addressed is going over the "State of Ohio uniform food safety code" 3717-1-02.3 Management and personnel: hygienic practices.

There was no hair covering restraints being used. I mentioned it to the young woman who took my order as I was leaving.

Our first time ordering we got the Family Sandwich Deal. The brisket was dry and had an overwhelming pepper taste. The pork was pretty good. The Carolina Gold and Original BBQ sauces were fine/average.

Beans were tasty.

Mac n cheese was very creamy and delicious!

I’d try this place again. My spouse will probably not. I’d say it’s an average place. It was a nice change from pizza night.

Decided to drive out to check this new BBQ out. Went in and was immediately greeted by Jamie. She explained the menu and all the options. The business has been open for about 3 1/2 weeks. Everything is made fresh everyday. Decided on the Brisket Lunch Special. It comes with a premium slider bun that is actually grilled which a great touch. The brisket had a mild apple smoke to it. It had a 75/25 blend of pepper/salt on same. It had a nice taste to it and was super moist. Baked beans with made with Bush's Beans, has brisket and sausage to it and had a sweet taste to them. I would probably leave the sausage, didn't do anything for the dish. Also the lunch special came with a small coleslaw. It had a liquid consistency but needed something to give it a little something for it to be memorable. Next was the mac n cheese. It was made with white cheddar cheese and a great pasta. To make it original they add some cinnamon and cayenne pepper to same. Tried a sample of the pulled pork and it was also delicious and moist. Also got a corn muffin that super moist and had a great corn texture to it. Delicious. Also had the opportunity to talk with the chef (Julio), this is a chef that is always looking for ideas on how to improve the customer experience. It was great talking with him. Nice place and should be a great asset to the area.
