“Ordered through DD. Something was wrong with the rice. I ordered 4 rolls, 2 were specialty rolls. The rice was really thick and gummy. Yet it somehow had crunchy rice pieces in it too. My rolls did not come with ginger or wasabi. One of my rolls had avocado on it and it had turned grey already and was pretty mushy, that was weird. Sorry but I’m not ordering from here again. Ended up tossing the majority of this bc it wasn’t good. Considering the $60 I dished out, pretty disappointed. Maybe it was a bad night idk.”

“The Jerk burger with cactus slaw was everything! Just the right amount of spice, robust jerk flavor heightened with the creamy coolness of the cactus slaw, which also has a kick of mild heat. I also ordered the Salmon Alfredo and could immediately tell the noodles were fresh. Definitely not your pantry-level pasta! The sauce was flavorful and creamy and the salmon bites were fried to perfection. Big portion size, too. I’m excited to try out the rest of the menu. I’m thinking the plantain fries and Caesar salad next on my meatless Monday!”

“Ordered on door dash and the food was well packaged and still hot on arrival. The tteokbokki was the perfect blend of spice and the bulgogi kimbap was delicious. I do wish there was a little bit more bulgogi inside the rolls but they were huge and stuffed with veggies so I can't complain lol they gave me a free dumpling sample with my order as well, very sweet. I recommend trying this place and I will definitely order again.”

“I tried VIP chicken and fish for the 1st time. It's new to the neighborhood. I started to pass on this, but the gentleman that answered Ithe phone quickly recognized that I was a new customer, and was accomodating, so I got catfish nuggets and greens. The catfish was good, but the greens did not have flavor. I have noticed that many of these soulfood restaurants around here are serving greens that looks and tastes like it came from the can lately. The other thing is that the only side that comes with the meals is French fries. I think there should be other side options available, and vegan options for the meal choices.”
