Halal New York Gyro

The parking is poorly designed, hard to get in and out of. The food is ok. Customer service is good.

We went there after reading the good reviews about the place. I go to NY a lot and NY style gyro is one of the must thing during every visit. I was a bit skeptical about it but when I tried it boy I was wrong. I tried combo our rice and it was so tasty. The guys were helpful and it is a small truck in a gas station. We loved the taste, esperanto the rice were excellent. Quality and quantity both were excellent. I am not a big fan of Halal guys so I will not do a comparison between them, but if you really like NY style gyro this place is a gem in Ohio.

I was introduced to this place by a friend at work, and it was the best gamble I’ve made in a while. I don’t usually eat Halal, mostly because it’s rare in my day to day, but the combination plate was better than expected! Personally I skipped the spicy sauce because I have a low tolerance for heat and spice in general so I can’t speak to that aspect, but I did hear they got a second truck, so I hope to see them around in the city more.

I enjoyed the food that I ordered. I ordered the lamb rice platter. It was a great price ($6) and I received a great amount of food. I got my meal spicy and it tasted great. The only thing I felt I was possibly missing (I don't know if it's normally included or if you have to ask for it or something) was red onion and tomatoes. I didn't technically order a gyro, but I thought I would still get those items. It was all good though; I had a Roma tomato at home and I bought a red onion from the supermarket. It was a great food truck to go to and everyone in my group of three enjoyed their food. I plan to go again.
