Visited multiple times. Good atmosphere each time. Sometimes its a bit too crowded for the available space, but that might just be my anxiety talking. The food is always good, tasty, and fresh whenever I eat there. The staff is familiar, friendly, and amusing.
In my most recent visit, a large loud, rude family group had just left and gave zero tip. It was obvious they were THOSE kinda customers, but as my friend and I were waiting for for our food (ordered to go, so we stood near the register) an employee was grumbling under their breath when putting in the tips on the machine. They were polite and friendly and professional to the group but they clearly felt snubbed. I don't think they realized that they were muttering to themselves and it was so quiet that you could barely hear it, but it was genuine and hilarious. So, you know that the staff will have a good sense or professionalism, humor, personablility, and good service 'cause they're clearly not giving you any lip or any of the generic rude service industry behavior you would get at a large local chain. Genuine homey family restaurant.
Great food and great service! They went above and beyond to make our dining experience great. Lemon chicken soup was excellent as well as their gyros.
We travel from Knoxville, TN to visit family. Yanni's is always on our list while we are here. We visited them last Saturday and they went above and beyond to make our experience a great one! They never disappoint! Thanks for scraping up 3 bowls of delicious soup for us!
Do you like gyros? Do you want a freshly made one the size of your head? Good. Then go to yannis. By far the best Greek restaurant in Columbus. And the chocolate cake is amazing. It's been 10 years since I've had it and I can still remember the taste and texture of the cake. It's heavenly. Next time I'm in Columbus they'll be my first stop.
The same old delicious low-key "Greek strip mall restaurant" that you've seen a dozen times before. Default menu.
The staff are wonderfully nice and personable, definitely the best part of the meal. If you have a craving for good Greek fare, this is a good spot.
Tomatoes are whole slices and the cucumber is 1 single big 2" chunk sliced off and tossed into the salad by itself. One of our 'to-go' orders was wrong, but still good.
