If you didn't know spagio has a wine cellar side offering a different menu with some really yummy things and a way more casual atmosphere. If you'd like you can walk around and pick out your own wine or your beer from the coolers and then a server will come and assist you. I've always enjoyed it. There's ample seating including outdoor which is fun when the weather is good to watch the action on Grandview Avenue :-) but this time we went in just to look for a particular wine an Italian one we have tried in Canada they didn't actually have the wine but we're familiar with what we were talking about and we're totally willing to order it and much to my surprise they don't gouge you on the price they actually charge State minimum so if you want a good bottle of wine go here! Whether it's for home or to have in the restaurant

Perfect service. My party liked their dishes, such as the lobster ravioli. I had the meatloaf. It was ok. But the unobtrusive and always on-point service was the highlight.

It took me a minute to find the restaurant since there’s a wine bar. Also be prepared to have cash if you use the valet since I had to walk a few blocks to find an ATM since the waiter was not able to charge my card the valet fee.Overall the atmosphere seemed a little dated but it really didn’t impact my dining experience. The customer service was good and I didn’t have any complaints. I ordered the vanilla bean Manhattan and it was really good and strong. For the appetizer, I ordered the Sweet Thai Calamari and it tasted great.I also ordered the spaghetti with veal meatballs. I had the option of using marinara, Alfredo sauce, or a combination of both and I chose both. The pasta and meatballs were well cooked. However the Alfredo sauce was bland and it was not served warm. I recommend the marinara sauce since it had more flavor. my partner ordered the meatloaf and it was prepared fine. However, it just tasted ok. There was nothing special about it and I feel like I could have made it at home. Her dish was also lukewarm. Overall my experience wasn’t bad but it wasn’t exceptional. I think next time, I’m going to check out the wine bar and see if I have a better experience since their pizzas looked incredible when I was walking out.
