Hunan House

I thought I wasn't a fan of Chinese food, but I trusted Liz and ate here with her. The food was delicious, the ambiance was great and I'm rethinking lots of foods I thought I didn't like. The Hunan Chicken was great. I doubt I'll be willing to try liver and onions.

Good food, great service, not so good location. The restaurant has been here for ages and one of the first high quality Chinese restaurants in Columbus. The location isn't dangerous but its not somewhere like Dublin or Gahanna. Their crispy pan fried noodles is probably one of the best noodle dishes!

First visit, and it was quite good experience. Clean, spacious and maintained place. Food was up to the taste. Good service. Average menu price. You'll be poked to pay some tips if you're the guy who don't tip.

I went with a pretty large group for my sister's birthday so we all got something different and sampled each other's food. Every dish was the absolute best I have had anywhere. By far the best egg rolls. Seafood velvet soup was new to me...but so delicious. Hunan fried rice was also the best. My sister's got general tso's tofu with fried rice. That was prepared to perfection. The place is beautiful. The service was outstanding. Dory did a tremendous job. Even posing us for pictures. And it was closing time but we were told to relax and take our time. I wish I could give it 6 stars.

Very nice decor inside this restaurant! I was pleasantly surprised! The waiter was very pleasent and refilled our drinks promptly as needed. Everyone in my party enjoyed their meal. I ordered a spicy lamb dish, was very tender and filling! Prices overall were very reasonable, and the portions were just right.
