614 Catering & BBQ Truck

Read about this truck on-line knew I had to try it out. Oh my goodness, one of the best times I have had. Was able to spend some time with the owner (Angie) and her sister Erin. Angie has what every business owner could only hope for. It is the concern for her neighborhood. While I was their a number of people and children came up and got a hug from Angie. A true heart tugging site. Doesn't get any better. On to the review. Angie has had a catering business for the last 2 years and about 4 months ago she decided to add a food truck too the business 4 months ago. I decided to have the candied yams, made with brown sugar, spices, marshmallow and some pecans. One of tastiest batch of green beans made with bacon and onion. Also had the cheesy potatoes which were riced up with cheese and baked with cheese/cracker top crust. Delicious!!!!! Also had the coleslaw, fresh made with a slightly creamy sauce. On to the main course. Ribs!!!!! The ribs which were nice and meaty were grilled with a homemade Bourbon bbq sauce which was off the charts. So much I drank 2 cups of it. Yummm!!! As if that wasn't enough, there was Jalapeno Cornbread, super tasty and had some great heat to it.

Everything that comes from 614 Catering is made with love. Those ladies work very hard 2 bring their new & different styles blended with delicious soul food ????????????????

I’ve eaten here several times! The pulled pork sandwiches were fantastic! We had smoked sausages, BBQ chicken quarters, a thick and super juicy chop, cheesy potatoes, baked beans, cucumber salad, peach cobbler, and banana pudding! Everything was on point including the great service! Angie makes this Carolina mop sauce that takes the smoked meats to a whole new level of deliciousness! I put it on all of the meats! I’m in love with that sauce! I can’t wait to go back!

Absolutely love all your food especially the fried cabbage & potatoes salad. The ribs & chicken is the best in town! Your deserts have been amazing. Keep doing what your doing.

Food is delicious, ribs are fall of the bone good! Sides and desserts are a hit as well, we loved the lemon bars. Oh and the cheesy potatoes are MUST try lol....The owner Angela is super cool and very friendly! :)
