As this was my first visit and I am not completely familiar with Filipino food, I asked the worker what she would recommend. I don't think that she understood, because she just kept telling me about the menu and hot bar. Finally, another customer called out from a table nearby and made a recommendation. I ended up ordering the chicken adobo, and it was very good. I would have liked more veggies with it, but then, I don't know what's normal. The customer that gave the recommendation (for something else) invited me to sit with her family. They were extremely friendly and had me try some of their food! The barbecue is good as is the rice cake dessert. Biko?
I would return! It was also nice to learn that a Filipino market is attached. I have driven past, often, but thought it was just a small ordinary market.
Delicious food! This is a place you must try. Pork belly was crispy, fatty and juicy, cooked to perfection. Fish was also perfect, salty, crispy, with a great marinade flavor to it. Lumpias, specially the pork ones, we great. However, the best was the dessert. That fried plantain spring roll topped with caramels was just fabulous.
Filipino food and the atmosphere here is quality. went there on a saturday. the service was very helpful and welcoming. the bill won't shock you.
This place is awesome. The menu items are very eclectic and there are many to choose from. They also have a hot bar where you point at what you want. There are items that anyone would enjoy, but there are also items for the more adventurous eater. We had smoked milkfish with pickled papaya that was phenomenal, and a pork sausage in a blood and vinegar sauce that were both excellent. On the other hand they have various dumplings and steam buns that even picky eaters would enjoy. They also have many vegetarian options (some of which substitute jackfruit for protein) that are delicious. This unassuming restaurant in a place you could drive by without noticing is certainly worth checking out.
This place is my newest whole in the wall favorite. Their build your own style selections are all delicious and their portions are generous and well priced.
Do yourself a favor and try this place out! The only unfortunate thing I can say is that I haven't memorized the names of my favorite dishes!
Excellent food, friendly staff and service, and clean. Worth every one of these stars and more!
