Excellent food and service tonight. Cuban sandwich and burrito bowl flavorful and true to Cuba tradition. Coffee con leche spot on. Delightful experience in a downtown area of limited dining options. We will be back!

Loved it! Have been waiting to try this place for awhile. I had the Cuban sandwich and it was delicious. The sandwich itself tasted great, and the pork was juicy and tender. It was large as well and very filling. The plantain chips with salt tasted good as well. Service was prompt and very friendly. I would absolutely come back!

I've been to the Plantain Cafe several times now and usually always get the Cuban sandwich. It's always good. The plantain chips are amazing! There was one server today (Friday) at lunch and he was shredding it! I saw some plate dishes that I want to try the next time. It's a small place and Friday lunches are busy.

This place is a gem. The fried chicken dish is an absolute banger. I love, love, love every plantain dish. Basically everything is wonderful and I've never not loved my meal. It's rarely busy in the evenings because I think it's mostly a favorite of the lunch crowd. The staff is always super friendly, helpful, and accommodating.
