Tommy's Diner

I love Tommy's! As soon as we moved to the west side of Columbus, we learned that Tommy's was the best place for breakfast on that side of town. We have been going there ever since. We love the 50s diner look of the place, and we like that it's a family-run business and everyone there is so friendly. The food is also perfect for what it is - greasy spoon breakfast! My favorite thing on the menu are the cinnamon rolls (which they heat on the grill before serving to you). Everyone should try this place!

The food was delicious. Great waitresses the food was cooked perfectly and nothing was left out. I will definitely be returning.

Great diner with everything you think it should have for a diner...old gas pump, Coke coolers and lots of pictures on the wall. The place was packed when we were there for breakfast. Wait staff hustle and are efficient and friendly. Diner menu with specials changed daily on a chalkboard over the counter. We will definitely return.

My first omelette was so good! I had to have second one! Superb service, coordination and speed of service is out of this world. It baffles me that they can maintain the food quality so high, prices low and somehow still get it out and serve you and be as nice and welcoming as they are, being at full volume for almost 60% to 70% of the time they are open. Seriously hats off to management. The aesthetic is also just splendid and full of memories and so much embodiment of the past with a hint of present. I love this place ????.

This is in response to the comment by Miranda who I actually sat near during her visit at this establishment. Ordering a steak well done will lead to it being cooked all the way through and in many cases causes the steak to lose its juice and flavor. If you don’t like steak chewy and rubbery, order it medium well. It seems the issue was your lack of knowledge on how to order a steak properly. Tommy’s reaction to your incessant complaining was warranted and justifiable. It was a breath of fresh air to watch a owner have the confidence in his business and food quality to put you in your rightful place. To have the audacity to make it a racial issue shows your lack of integrity. That is just ludicrous. I’ve been to Tommy’s almost every week for months. The food is consistently on par. The crowd that visits is diverse and of all racial backgrounds. There is a reason this restaurant has almost 5 stars with almost a thousand reviews. This was a customer error, not the restaurants.
