Just tried them for the first time. I had the simple jack on a biscuit and the bread pudding with their seasonal strawberry rhubarb preserves. So delicious! I went in for a late lunch around 2pm and despite being a slower time of day and close to closing time all of the food was super fresh. I will definitely be back!

I stopped by for the first time recently and the food was AMAZING: I tried a little of everything: the biscuits and pimento cheese were perfection. Salad was very interesting with lots of great crunchy toppings and a wonderful creamy dressing. Fried chicken sandwich was huge, breading on the sandwich was crispy and crunchy but didn't scrape the skin off the roof of your mouth- seriously so, so good.

Staff was friendly and had great recommendations. They also observed social distancing protocols and everyone wore masks and gloves: I felt very safe visiting and will definitely be back! Also, there's a parking garage literally right around the corner and I think it was only a few dollars to park for an hour or so- a great deal in the Short North!

I stopped in while walking by and asked for a recommendation. The gentleman said he liked the Prairie Bird. I ordered 2 , one for me and one for my wife.
I then had about a 20 minute drive home.I was scared it may impact the taste of the sandwich. As it turns out, it didn’t.
The chicken is amazing. The maple mustard and slaw was delicious. It was recommended to get it with bacon and I am glad I did.
I will definitely be returning.

The. Chicken. Is. Remarkably. Delicious.
And two of the sandwiches — The Simple Jack and The Prairie Bird — are both scrumptious as well. (In fact, I can only go to Boxwood Biscuit Co. with someone willing to share half of each.) Of course, there has to be a beverage focus. The House Cold Brew is #1, but the Coconut Ginger Lemonade is a worthy alternative!

Love the new location! We had the lil chicken and sausage biscuit sandwich. All were excellent. The biscuits were much smaller than the first go around. This made eating the sandwich much easier. It was the perfect amount of full. Such a great addition to this area. The food won't disappoint!!
