Casa Oaxaca

The food and service here was excellent. I ordered the pozole and my wife ordered the Enchiladas Oaxaqueñas. My daughter got a huge chicken burrito. My wife also ordered a birria taco to try. The mole on the enchiladas was exemplary. The owner came out and explained just how long it takes her to make her mole from scratch. And how many ingredients it has. I was really impressed.
The birria was really juicy and flavorful.
Yes you have to pay for chips and salsa. Buy some guacamole and live a little. Honestly my pozole was so huge that I could hardly eat the chips and Choriqueso we ordered. Go here you won't be disappointed. I think over time as the restaurant comes along they will improve their decor and add more tables. For now it is a really lovely family run place that has room to grow. It's rare to find authentic mexican food this good.

I will definitely go back, but won’t pay for salsa and chips as appetizer again. That’s odd for a Mexican restaurant. First one I have been to that does not offer it for free.

Very yummy! Everything tasted so fresh! Horchata was perfect with the meal, the torta was good, tacos were great and the guac was the best! Can't wait for them to get their bar up and running!

Came here for the Birria tacos! They were crispy on the outside and yummy on the inside. They did not put in as much meat as some of the other places do but it still was pretty good. The consommé was my favorite as it had rice in it and was very flavorful. I also got a steak Street taco where the steak was crisp and tasty. The owners and staff were extremely friendly. Can’t go wrong with this place!

Delicious! We had ChoriQueso, Birria Tacos with Consume & Pork Pozole. Flavors were amazing can’t wait to go back and try the rest of the menu. Staff was supper friendly!
