Dave's Hot Chicken

Got the hot and the medium sliders. The chicken was really crisp and fresh. The hot was so spicy I'm glad I didn't get the extra hot or the reaper. The medium wasn't spicy at all but it was all good. Sauces were good 👍, so was the Mac&cheese but I think I will skip that next time.

The chicken is delicious. I've tried medium, hot, and reaper so far. I was really impressed by the medium. It is more flavorful that most mediums while not being spicy. All the spice levels have a nice crispy (not crunchy) exterior and a juicy, tender interior. In terms of spice level, the reaper is about what I would expect for "hot" - it's a slow burn that's not overwhelming. The fries are pretty much perfect. Mac and cheese is not up to par with the rest though. Service is quick and friendly!

Got the 1 tender, 1 slider combo at the Hot level and it was so crunchy and flavorful. Wouldn’t want to go any hotter myself but they offer two hotter levels. The sauce is ok and does a good job of cooling things down a bit. Nice portion size as well.

Great addition to the Columbus restaurant scene! Like most I had seen all the online hype surrounding Daves hot chicken. Finally stopped in today for lunch. The food was good and very generous portions. I really enjoy the sauce/rub they use on the chicken. Gives it really excellent flavor. I absolutely love the Daves sauce. Ask for extra! The staff were friendly and helpful. Food was out very fast. I enjoyed the outside dining on this nice sunny day.

Really solid food. My gf got 2 light mild tenders and I got a hot slider. We both got cheese fries as well. This placed just opened 9/29 so prepare to wait varying times depending on what time you go. The food was hot and good so we plan on visiting again.
