Every time I come back from Japan, I always miss Japanese food, especially Yakiniku (Grilled Meat) All you can eat. I am so happy this restaurant has opened up.

Probably my favorite new place for when I have a little extra to go out and eat. All you can eat ribeye and it's good? Not the place for a vegetarian to get their monies worth, but if you're a meat eater this place is gold. I cannot reccomend it enough.

I was skeptical to go because of the reviews on yelp, but you never know unless you try it yourself. We're glad we did. They have definitely worked out all the kinks they might have had. They have changed their concept to all you can eat. The appetizers, meat, and dishes were all on point. Everything is made to order, however once you ordered something, it comes out extremely fast. Had a great experience and will definitely be back. Just prepare yourself to leave extremely full!

I would like to share my experience in hopes that it will make this place better because as a self-proclaimed foodie I was extremely excited for Columbus to have Japanese BBQ on the map.

Let's start with the service. First off, it took 15 minutes for drinks. My friend actually had to go grab someone for that. Our waitress took our first order for AYCE. When the food came, it was just dropped off. We had to grab her before she went too far to explain which dish is which, in which she wasn't totally quite sure. Then, when asked for a refill on water, only one person's water was refilled. As the night went on, multiple servers came by and gone, most didn't know if the dish they came by with is actually ours. We've had food come to the table that wasn't ours nor any either table on either side of us. Halfway through service, this one server ended up helping us with the rest of our dinner. We asked him how they did tips there and it is pooled. We ended up giving him cash as he was the only one that really took care of us.

Now lets get on with the food. Too much pepper. We tried a LOT of dishes. Most of them are just way too pepper-y. When it hits the grill and the whiff of air hits, I definitely coughed a few times. They may want to try not cutting the meat so thin as it cooks extremely fast. We also ordered asparagus. One stalk was like cut into three slices. When put on the grill, the outside became extremely tough and it just all shriveled up (poor asparagus!!). The grill was turned up as to a level 9 which scorched pretty much everything it touched. We ended up turning it way down ourselves.
There was also no grill change. Both my table and the one next to us ended up wiping our grill clean with napkins and some water. Best thing we had was the almond jelly dessert. Also, the chilled tofu is quite refreshing.

The spot. It's got cute artwork on the walls. Pretty laid back. They need to do something with the ventilation because it got pretty smokey and hot in the restaurant. Even one of the servers who came by was wondering why it was so hot in our area.

Would I go back? Would I give it another try? Most likely but not any time soon. They're new. There's a lot to be hammered out. I hope they do end up reading this as I would LOVE for them to succeed and it's hard with Gogi right down the street. In a nutshell, please focus on customer service. Each server should have their own designated tables. Let's not have random people run around not knowing what food goes to which table. Less pepper, thicker meat. Let the juices from the meat speak for itself. A good protein don't need extra stuff to make it delicious.
