Very simple menu which is nice. Order was ready in 10 minutes. I got the chicken breast with K-pop sauce and with their garlic sauce.I didn't realize that they serve the sauce on the which I like better.
They're citrus ginger salad dressing is amazing. The ginger is not medicinal tasting and it kind of made me want to have more salad.
The chicken breast was a nice cut of meat with a nice amount of size but not too much. The breading was very good, didn't taste any seasoning but carried the taste of the chicken well. The garlic sauce is definitely a garlic sauce kind of remind me of gyoza sauce with a lot of garlic. The K-pop sauce was delicious. Sweet with notes of citrus, with a nice kick at the end but not overpowering. The rice on its own is very tasty but is also very good being mixed with the sauce. Would recommend to everyone.
I wanted to love this place but I did not enjoy it. The Spicy K Pop sauce was very good but the wings alone were bland and incredibly tiny. Not worth the cost. I also had the chicken sandwich. The portion size was good and looked like it was going to be amazing but the cut of meat was very fatty and had tendons throughout it so it was barely edible. The order was ready on time and packed well but the chicken quality was not very good at all.
This is Franklin counties little secret...this place has the best fried chicken. The oil is fresh, and the quality of chicken is top notch. Thst season the bird just right, and it's not greasy not dry.
Wish they were open on Thanksgiving.
Excellent chicken. I love eating at Meshikou and the ramen is always good. Was excited to try this place. Ordered online and picked up in 10 minutes. The order was neatly packed and included food safe gloves in the bag. The salad dressing is good. The rice is flavorful. I tried the Spicy K Pop sauce and the Garlic Bomb sauce. The sauces are served on the side so the fried chicken stays crispy. The K pop sauce was the right balance of sweet and spicy and the garlic sauce was delicious. I got the thigh meal and it came with two nice size thighs. It was a good value at $10.
Just got done with an excellent spicy chicken sandwich and a side of rice. The chicken itself was practically perfect. Nice crisped up skin with the flesh juicy and tender. Came dressed with pickles and a savory sauce kinda like mayo. The rice was also quite good and tasted very strongly of the aforementioned chicken. This place is owned by the folks that own Meshikou next door. So if you like the cooking there (and I really do), I don't see you having any issues here either. 5/5 be back soon.
