Very tasty Chicken Lo Mein. Had a hint of Thai with it's nutty dark sauce. Sprouts, onions and chives were all cooked to perfection as well. Good, quality chicken.
Server was kind of rude, but it was a fast enough transaction to not worry about it.
The prices were steep for the amount of food...the Spicy Thai Roll was tiny and very sweet with virtually no spice to it. The side salad was a pile of hastily cut lettuce with tasty Citrus Ginger Dressing.
The best part about Nida's is the atmosphere, which you can't even really attribute to it.
I got a sushi combination with a California roll, a salmon roll, and a spicy tuna roll. I normally like when cucumber is added to a roll to give it a little "crunch", but way too large of sticks were used to where the flavor overpowered the fish. Same goes for the avocado used in the California roll; it's flavor completely masked the crab. As for the salmon roll, it was fine, but nothing extraordinary.
Maybe a noodle dish or a poke bowl would be different, but I wouldn't exactly "recommend" Nida's for it's sushi. If you're really craving it, it'll suffice, but would never go out of my way to order from there again.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!!!! I go here every time that I visit the North Market. Their poke bowls are so good!!! I get mine with salmon and spicy mayo. DELICIOUS.
