SIP Local

Great brunch spot with ALL- OHIO brews and spirits. We love the LOCAL family and live close. So happy to have this gem in Clintonville. This was our second visit and first for brunch. My husband & I were blown away by our meals. I had the Creole Eggs and the husband had the "Sunny" open faced sandwich with huge sausage patties. I left the husband at the bar to watch some football after my meal and ran over to Lucky's for some shopping.

We enjoyed our first visit. The wings were cooked perfectly and we found out they use duck fat. Yum! The bologna sandwich was great and we shared some fries which were also quite good. We will be going back again!

Honestly not sure. We have been to their original Dierker Rd location often since it opened and were somewhat excited to check out SIP Local. So we attempted to go there Saturday.
There were no hours listed on the building (or here), but the lights were all on, a person was behind the bar, the front door was open....so we walked in. OOPS....apparently they didn't open until 3:00pm.
NOTE: We were not the only ones. As we went back to our car, 3 other people were also parked and wondering if SIP was open or not.
It would be very very very nice of SIP Local to give people some indication of just when they are open or closed. Write it on a piece of paper and tape it to your front door maybe? Something, anything.
The end result? You guessed it, we went to another place to eat, then went to 2 other breweries instead.
We will try SIP Local again in a couple of weeks. Not in any hurry now.

Great atmosphere. All the food was amazing!! Best, crispiest wings I've ever had. Will be back often.
