SLAB Food Truck

Possibly the best ribs in Columbus. Cooked perfectly & fall off the bone with a KC-style sauce.

We LOVED our experience with SLAB. The ribs were perfect: fall off the bone & quality meat. I’ve been dreaming about the Mac n cheese since we had it two weeks ago and my toddler loved it. My in-laws got sandwiches that they loved. The slaw was the perfect amount of tangy and sweet. The bacon wrapped carrots were the perfect amount of sweet and salty. The service was the perfect amount of fast and friendly. It’s rare that everyone wins dinner at one sitting and we all won that night.

Tracked down the SLAB truck today to check them out. They have been in business about 6 weeks. Had a great talk with Bryan, Terron and Brenna. All of them quit their jobs and went all in on their food truck business. Bought the truck and had it stripped down and custom made it for their business. Enthusiasm and Personality plus for this group. Ordered the BBQ Rib Sandwich, Mac n cheese and Cole slaw. The sandwich had rib meat with a sweet, maybe a little mustard in the sauce, and onion straws and Cole slaw on a half sub bun. The meat was super tender and blended well with the BBQ sauce, crispy onion strings and slaw. Should have ordered a 2nd one. The Mac n cheese was made with a real smooth/thick white cheese, could've ate a ton of this in hindsight. Slaw was definitely homemade and was more of a creamy slaw. Yummmm!! Can't wait to see how they progress in the future. I will definitely be back to check out more of the menu and "The RIBS". This was from a visit from a month ago.

The Slab Burger is so good. You need to put that in your face hole.
