Sweet Carrot

The food was amazing! Highly recommend the smoked turkey and white BBQ sauce, they pair really well together. The pulled pork is amazing as well. The service was quick and professional. Loved the atmosphere!

Sweet Carrot is a PHENOMENAL restaurant... with a deceptive name! What even is it? A salad bar? A vegan juice bar? NO! Even better than that! It is an eclectic small local restaurant specializing in comfort food, including barbecue items, and a lavish assortment of delectable desserts. Needless to say, they ARE very heavy on veggies, but of course their menu includes options for carnivores and vegetarians alike! In terms of hot foods, they masterfully do so much with so little. Also, you will not find the big brand soft drinks in the restaurant. Instead, the soda fountain contains "microbrew" soft drinks. MARVELOUS!

I tried the smoked Turkey on buttered roll. Great taste of coleslaw and corn salad added with mac and cheese on the side. Had to have a piece of carrot cake for dessert. My wife had the beef brisket on the corn pancake. Nice presentation and friendly service. Could have been bigger portions.

This place has an interesting menu with corn cakes, mac and cheese, sandwiches, or salads smothered with different meats and toppings. I'd best describe it as soul food. Unfortunately, it tastes less interesting than it looks. You get what you get (which isn't bad), but there are no spices, standout flavors, or tender meats that would make it great. Service here is very friendly and welcoming. Overall, Sweet Carrot has a lot of fans, so I wouldn't deter you from giving them a try.

I travel all over the country for work and try to stop at a Triple D spot in every city I'm in. I also try to have what Guy ate the time he was here. This is a great cozy place and the food and service was awesome. Claire made me feel at home with friendly attitude and service. She was helpful and new what Guy ate.
