I had an amazing time! I went by myself but I didn't feel out of place at all! Everyone worked well together and the staff was amazingly supportive and helpful.

I was invited to an event at The Kitchen last night, and I went, by myself, not knowing what I was in store for. It turned out to be one of the most fun, delicious events I have ever been too!! As one of the people who worked there explained, it's not a cooking class, but a fun, shared cooking experience!! In less than 2 hours, with all the ingredients set out and the guidance of the staff, we prepared a fresh, tasty meal....right up to the warm Mexican Chocolate cake, which you could smell baking in the oven as we got ready to eat dinner!! As we were eating I said to a few people around me that I didn't feel like I was eating in a restuarant. The food had such a made at home in my kitchen flavor. It was absolutely wonderful!!! Besides all that .... the facility was very clean and the staff was excellent!!!!

Great Taco Tuesday! Menu changes regularly and includes unique types of tacos (meatloaf, spaetzle, etc) worth a try! Check out their special programming as well!

It had a really interesting open concept dining hall atmosphere. With big long cafeteria kind of tables. That you could potentially share with strangers. But the decor was very nice, hip, and chic. I liked that you placed your order in the back next to the bar and pay right there before getting your food. The parking was a little tricky because it's only street parking. And because it is open it can be very echoey and loud even when there's not a lot of people there. The food was tasty but a little overpriced. Same goes for the drinks. The staff were all very friendly.
