Cheerful and unique place that was refurbished but kept the flavor of the older building.Many years ago this building housed a public library branch. I went there often. Now it again promotes books. I found some new authors to try and a book that I have wanted to read. I look forward to some of the events they have which include book clubs,author readings,music nights and more.”

“I have a running joke with my mates about this place. The nuggets and fries will suck unless you go during the night shift. If you go during the day, the nuggets and fries are both dry as hell and gross. If you go during night they're amazing, fresh and delicious. No complaints with anything else regarding this place though. Pretty clean, staff is pleasurable to interact with. Place is pretty nice.”

“What can be said about McDonald's that hasn't been already settled by a hundred people should you leave the food out for a year honestly we just get a little bit hard is it healthy heck no but is it good heck yes. The milkshakes in the french fries are the two things that McDonald's does excellent the burgers are good and usually pretty juicy they also have the fresh cooked with you're literally dripping with meat juice. And are delicious but overall I love their milkshakes they're usually the right amount of chocolate although for some reason at every McDonald's I go to it seems like the chocolate milkshake machine goes on the fritz every few weeks at least. But overall very good and you know what can you say it's McDonald's over 1 billion served you know at this point it's actually probably closer to a trillion”

“One of the coolest cafes I've been to. Right across from the historic Lincoln Theater. I like that they were playing jazz music and had sports on TV screens with muted sound. Very good coffee. Had the Big Cob salad and nachos with smoked beef. Both were excellent!”

“Seems like new management which was needed so it's better now then it has been in awhile. Although I was not happy that they would not let me add a drink that I had already added in the beginning and they didn't put it on the order but did say it back to me without having to go all the way around to order again when I had to be at work soon and there was a big line. But overall better service now. No more seeing employees underwear and rude service so I'm good.”

“I've been to the Plantain Cafe several times now and usually always get the Cuban sandwich. It's always good. The plantain chips are amazing! There was one server today (Friday) at lunch and he was shredding it! I saw some plate dishes that I want to try the next time. It's a small place and Friday lunches are busy.”

“We came in this morning very hungry and needing a hot beverage. We ordered some of their sandwiches which were delicious. There is some kind of sauce on them that has some kind of herbs and is sweet and tangy it is so so good on the hot sandwiches! Also had some pastries muffins were excellent very moist and flavorful but not artificial. The fruit crush smoothie was tasty and refreshing and i enjoyed that there is no extra sugar added. Service was spectacular, cant wait to bring my family and friends here in the future!”
