Swensons (Dublin) Drive-In Restaurants

The prices are very low, the experience is fun, but that food is not great. The menu has a good variety, but the quality of the food is quite low. I enjoyed the saladboy “burger,” but the fries are not good. I don’t recommend the strawberry shake either. It’s just made with strawberry syrup and it tastes like generic syrup. The chicken “nuggets” are not good either. All that being said, it’s worth going at least once for the different dining experience. But if I want a good, unhealthy, “cheat day” burger, I would just go to Wendy’s or McDonald’s instead.

This place was really cool. The drive in experience was a good change of pace. The service was really fast and friendly. It was a little nerve wracking though watching the servers just dash across the lot without looking for cars.

Anyway, the fried mushrooms were the perfect bite sized treat. They explode with flavor too. My favorite part about the experience was not having trash in my car at the end of the meal since the servers will take it from you when you're done. It's awesome!

This Swenson's location was the first to open in Columbus late last year (previously the chain was limited to Northeast Ohio). It's a drive in, where you stay in your car and simply turn on the headlights when you need to order. Someone will come rushing out to meet you. They have some of the best food you can find for the price, including cheeseburgers (their specialty is the Galley Boy with two secret sauces), tater tots, and wonderfully flavorful milkshakes in 16 or so different flavors (try peanut butter, hot fudge, or caramel!). Definitely a place I recommend.

Fast, friendly service. Food was delicious and an excellent price! Never knew this establishment existed. Pull up, turn on you lights and they sprint to your car, take your order and with a very minimal wait. Would highly recommend a pull in and eat.

First time was great, will return! Service was quick and friendly. Burgers were good and fresh. Although I'm not sure I personally liked the sweet sauce on the galley boy... So I'll try something different next time. Onion rings were great! Prices are very reasonable.
